  • Greenhouse vegetables

I've got surplus space in my greenhouse borders and wondered what type of "ordinary" veg I can grow that will tolerate greenhouse conditions, in addition to the tomatoes and cucumbers that are currently growing. Thanks.

Have you tried aubergines in pots, the advice on the label says a pot no smaller than 30cm and best grown in a green house.

Salad stuff, as long as you don't let your greenhouse get too hot.

Beetroot should be fine in the borders.

Chris was discussing Okra which prefers a greenhouse climate. I haven't had much joy with salad onions except when overwintering, rocket grows well and is quick, peppers. This year I've also planted a loganberry in the greenhouse, which seems to really like its spot.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I'll second that! Mine is working its way around the perimeter wires of my plot. 10m one way and 10m the other. Gulp! You may need a bigger greenhouse lad
