  • Greenhouse louvre vent position?

Hi, I hope someone can help. I'm assembling my 8x6 polycarbonate greenhouse. I bought a louvre vent but I'm not sure what the best position is. Obviously low down, but if you look at the pic below would you go for A, B or C? The left side B and the back C are obviously sheltered from the wind with the wall and fence. The door faces south. I'm thinking the back wall C would be good. Any thought before I put the frame together?
    Thanks a lot.

I do. One in the roof. I can put it anywhere, on either side.

        Halfway along A?
While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.

Was thinking that but then the kids playing ball might wreck it.
I think round the back might make a bit of a flow through the middle, will probably go for that.
          Thanks!

Mine are at A (open to the garden & not facing a wall). I have two, on an 8ft gh

              Near the back of A?
One thing to think about - access to the opening handle thingy - unless you're having an automatic opener. When you have plants growing in front of it, it can be awkward to reach. The last GH I've acquired has the louvre in the top pane at the side and I can see the advantages in terms of access - ventilation I'm not so sure

Exactly my problem, so I ignore the louvres and just leave the door open (the roof vents are auto)

I have an auto opener on one which is great - as that is behind the tomatoes - green arms anyone?
In another GH its at C and that has been really awkward as its where I grow tall things like cukes.
So I open the louvres in spring and leave them open until winter. Can't be faffing about too much - doors open too

Low down on the opposite side to the roof vent so air blows through.
