  • Sterilizing pots etc

    I use large 10 litre pots for my tomatoes and they will be reused next year. Trouble is, ive had a bit of blight and want to sterilize them.
    what do you use...bleach ?, j e y e s fluid ?

    Any suggestions ?

    If they're plastic pots they should be fine if you just wash them with hot soapy water. That's all I use. Just make sure they are clean and dry before storing them.

      Blight only survives on living plant material anyway, so as rustylady said, just a quick wash with soapy water. Personally, I don't bother; but that's just me

        Just what I was going to point out. Blight spores will survive on tubers in the soil, but not in the soil itself
