Next door have just knocked holding my greenhouse in their hands granted it was a flyaway one but it had stood strong through all the other storms we've had- when it had nothing in now I have god knows how many plants scattered god knows where! Will have to go on the hunt tomorrow for them

Bummocks, Mumbles. Wind's been blowing from due south here all day, very unusual to be from that direction. Maybe a different wind direction caught your blowaway too.

      Endless wonder.

Oh dear, that is such a shame. Hope you can salvage something or at least start to sow some seeds.

It's just so annoying. Hoping some things are still ok as my little girl planted a lot of them and she'll be devastated when she gets back from her grandparents when she sees it's gone

Unfortunately yes. The garlic had just come up, there were a few fruit bushes taking shelter in there and the sweet peas (about 30 of them) had got to about 2 inches. She is also annoyingly clever and attentive and I can't get away with tricking her- believe me I've tried!
She goes out about 4 times a day to check everything- she's the keenest gardener I know!

providing they are still where you can get them, the garlic being a clove should re-plant,same with sweet peas,if any of the peas have broken from the seed itself, pop the bottom into water,i did this last year with the tops i nipped of so they would sent out more stems, and it worked, takes several days, then white roots emerged, the fruit bushes should be ok,just tell her thats the way nature is sometimes, and mommy has been cleaver and rescued them, good luck,

I am sorry to hear that, youngsters deserve a bit of success early on to keep them keen, but maybe it wont hurt for her to learn alongside of the successes there are sometimes set backs, it makes the final harvest all the more sweet. I'm sure you will rescue a lot of it, plants dont blow as far as green houses. They will also be kept damp in this weather.
