which is the best one for growing peas in?

I want a raised table for my peas and i done know which one to buy, need your help please, which one do you think would be best.

There's a big price difference, wonder how sturdy the cheaper one is. I have bought a 'strawberry cage' from Harrods and as very pleased with it. But don't know about these beds, have you looked at the 'reviews'?

only the one from Harrods has reviews and they are good, only thing someone says easy to build up which is something i would rather avoid having to do.

Actually just had another look, the cheaper one us not very deep, will there be enough depth for roots? Peas grow about/4/5 ft, you don't want them falling over.

The peas i have bought are Kelvedon Wonder dwarf variety for containers.

I have been told mice eat the peas so they are best grown off the ground. And i have bought peas for cantainers so they only grow 2-3ft.

It says minimal assembly and takes 10 minutes to build.

Kelvedon Wonder aren't specifically for containers. I grow mine on the allotment and they grow to about 3 feet tall Suzan and need support in the form of netting or twigs.

Mice don't eat the plants, only the ungerminated seeds. Don't you have any ground you can grow in?

No i dont have any ground to grow then in i am afraid, thats why i grow all my veg in containers either outside or in the greenhouse.

You could knock something like this up very easily and cheaply. I know from your previous posts you don't have a lot of tools. But if you went to the Depot with a timber list they would cut everything to size for you free off charge all you would need then would be that screwdriver again and some screws. My two containers are each about 900mm long 650mm wide and 240mm deep. Together the hold 90 odd KW peas.

The Harrod Horticultural one is deeper so it would be better for Peas but then it is twice the price! With Kelvedon Wonder Dwarf they may be alright if you stake them up with some twigs so that they have some sort of support. Another variety which i used to use in raised beds was Tom Thumb and that was a dwarf variety and that needed support.

They're going to get quite tall (depending on variety), so are you going to be able to reach to pick them?

And, are they going to get battered by wind, up high?
