It's amazing what a warm spell & a thunderstorm can do. The Brassicage is coming into it's own now.

I decided to chop the legs off and the prop idea works well . . . I will make a custom prop that can't slip off while I'm underneath . . .

1st cage is now complete and in use

Looks incredibly well built Raptor... how tall is it though? Will you make a taller one for PSB, sprouts etc?

Yep, good point . . . it's nowhere near big enough for Sprouts or PSB . . . I have Sprouts under there at the moment but will be building one just for the Sprouts and one for the PSB too. When the Sprouts need the bigger cage I have room to move this cage over a position to make room.

That look very good Raptoruk. I just have butterfly proof netting over mine. This taken about 2 weeks ago now.

You may want to consider raising your present cages rather than building more as I think you may have problems growing cabbages under them due to the height.

In the Brassicage, there are various varieties of Cabbage, Sprouts, Calabrese, Cauliflower & PSB. Already picking them as they become ready. I need the space for Winter Brassicas. My plot is in the garden.
