Been looking at these wonderwall products that protect against caterpillar damage etc and come up with one problem. If you erect them over a raised bed and start sowing plants as you move down the bed you are faced with the problem of having to walk over all your crops when it comes to harvesting. The alternative is to make a central pathway which wastes space. Has anyone got one of these products and experienced this problem?

I've got a similar type tunnel, mostly for brassicas. It's about 11 or 12 foot wide and 30' long. I find a narrow central path running the length works well, gives me two long beds of about 5' wide each.

I have scaffolders debris netting over hoops to protect my brassicas from cabbage white butterfly, and some other crops to keep pigeons etc. off

My concern would be snow weight on the "fine mesh" netting. I change all mine to a wide-mesh bird-netting in winter (2" I think, as even 1" is capable of collecting enough snow to "block over" the holes, and then collect significant weight)

I get a significant build-up of Whitefly in mine, during the summer. I presume that is the reduced wind because of the netting.
