I have a polytunnel that I have now decided to keep after much thought. It is one of the cheapy ones but the frame is really sturdy. It currently has a green cover on it which has started to disintegrate. I have decided I am going to move it into another place. Any advice if it would be better to get a new cover and attach this this to wooden battens or would it be better to dig out a trench and lye the cover in? Also any other tips for remaking the polytunnel bearing in mind the frame is already constructed and also one more thing when would be best to put a new cover on?

I think its always best to dig a trench to bury the bottom of the cover. It stops the wind from getting under it. I would personally wait until just before I wanted to start using it before putting the new cover on - especially with the winds we've had just lately. What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
Pumpkin pi.
