DIY Propagator - Any Advice

Decided I want to try a home made propagator this year as we have my God Daughter in the spare room where I normally set up a pasting table for sowing (not ideal!) and found this link:

Anyone done anything like this and care to comment? I also looked at making a hotbed to go in our 12m x 15m polytunnel. The propagator looks easier.....
