broken blowaway

Hi, I am very new here, and have read quite a few posts about the blowaways.
Mine did just that in the severe winds a few weeks back. The cover survived but the plastic joining pieces were broken.
Does anyone know where to get replacement plastic joining pieces?
Or does anyone have any surviving pieces from a broken one that I can buy off them ?

Double check the diam of the pipes as they come in 15mm & 19mm.

To add a bit of strength and resilience to the connectors I've wrapped a couple of layers SOS self amalgamating pipe repair tape around the ends.

Doesn't help you at the moment but it's helped mine survive so far.

Sorry to hear about your Blowaway - it happens to most of us at some time!
I don't know how many broken connectors you have but don't rush into buying until you've compared the price of buying a new blowaway. You may find it is as cheap to buy a new one, then you could keep the old cover and supports/connectors as spares for when it happens again

My first one (still up from last year) cost £35, my seconds (going up soon) £20 and my third (in the loft for use as replacement if/when needed) £14.

If it's only 1 or 2 that are broken, you can easily tape/glue them - and use them on the bottom.

As long as it's going on a level surface, with a few bricks on the bottom shelf- the weight of it will hold the broken pieces in place.

(I'm presuming it is one of the 4 shelf thingys).

Also, at the end of the Summer when places like Asda, Wilcos, etc. are wanting to then fill their places with Christmas tat - you can sometimes pick them up pretty cheaply (I got a couple for £5 each last year).

I got some blowaway joints off freegle/freecycle once. I would imagine there's loads out there gathering dust as they tend not to last very long.
