Moving the greenhouse

Been a very busy day today. Didn't have any plans to do anything to the greenhouse.
Due to the filler in the ceiling not drying so unable to paint it we decided to remove the glass from greenhouse!!

Managed not to break a single pan . The glass is really dirty loads of moss stuck in the joints.
Can't wait to move it into place!

Intrigued as to why the downpipe from the gutter come "into" the greenhouse and, it appears?, back out again to the water butt?

Well done not breaking any glass! I'm covered in the tiniest of cuts from ours! We have a pile ready to go to the tip, that's a HUGE looking greenhouse by the way

We've normally got a large water butt inside that the pipe going in feeds into. The pipe coming out is the overflow pipe which goes into the old house water tank at the side.

We might have managed not to break any glass taking it out but putting it back in will be another story.

My husband took a times lapse video of us taking it down. I'll try and update it later.

I use rubber electrician's gloves: good for delicate work,, protect from small cuts..

Here's a couple of photos from today. We've moved the greenhouse frame now onto chipping the bricks off.

A quick up date on the greenhouse..... It's moved and in place. Few more panels of glass to go in then fitting the slabs inside. Shouldn't be long before I can use it!!
