Hello all.
Apologies if this in the wrong area, feel free to move.
I've a recently started project that's just become surplus to requirements, due to a very kind near-neighbour. I was in the process of grafting my Dad's "old" ally-framed 6 x 6 glass greenhouse onto my 6 x 4 polycarbonate g/house to make a 10 x 6 when said neighbour gave me her unwanted 12 x 8 greenhouse. Apart from a few new panes of glass and a good fettle, it's in almost perfect condition. To say I'm chuffed to little mint balls is an understatement!!
With regards the project, the ally greenhouse is complete, apart from about half of the glass, and my Dad altered the door from sliding to hinged. The poly house is intact, apart from a couple of panels that were damaged in the last high winds that we had. For the price of some new glass, it would make a great project.
If anyone can use it and can collect, it's sat waiting midway between Hull and Spurn Point. Apologies for not much info, I'm en-route to a wind farm in the Scottish Highlands and don't have much spare time.
Martyn.
