Am looking for advice please.
This winter I am going to overwinter some plants and need to keep temperature above freezing. Would a soil heating cable laid in sand sandwiched between two sheets of thick polythene with fine gravel work. Want to stand the plants on the gravel for drainage in case we get a warm winter but the cable has to be laid in sand.
