Well gh1 looks green and full despite getting ride of over half the toms due to blight



GH2. Tidied up the jungle yesterday and found a few potential melons on my sleeping beauty. I was starting to think the melon experiment was a write off for this year.



Then GH3, which could do with a tidy.

gh1 - I am in that end of season lul so not very on top of things. There are still a few odd toms but they need taking out as blight is back in this gh. My Bolivian achocha has started to get busy in the last few weeks. The peppers are kinda doing things as and when they can be fussed.



gh 2 - a collection of mini melons that I keep umming and arring about. One of the red peaches that just doesn't seem to want to ripen. There is a black icicle tom and orange pear (but it isn't) that I put in to see what effect the shading had this year and they are doing well. So I think next year I will have a 50:50 slit of melons and toms.



gh3 - complete flop for this year - will have a think on how to deal with this for next year.

Still in slumpy, that time of year, can't be bothered mode and it shows

GH1 with my reluctant to ripen chillies and the odd bit of soft rot appearing.



GH2 waiting to be stripped once I can get past the squash to the compost bins



GH3 more or less stripped. Not sure why I left one tom .

Spring Cabbages are looking healthy:



The Munty House is looking bedraggled but still producing:



The soft fruit trees are now approaching dormancy:

Polytunnel cleared of junk and now got a load of perennials bedded down to overwinter whilst I spend the next few months remodelling the plot.

Most were bedded in then cut down (Helenium in front) but others like my lovely big poppy were left to die down themselves.

Greenhouse starting to fill with various young plants too.
