I think you right VC, if I remember correctly cuc's like a moist environment, not advisable with toms.

Like many others I only have one GH so have to compromise.

I only have 3 greenhouses, so cannot comment I'm afraid
Only thing I would mention is if you have specific greenhouses for certain things, then don't limit yourself for saving seed purposes..for example, chilli or peppers..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

I suggest to have a parabolic approach on both sides of the house.

like peppers and aubergines at both corners of one side and tomatos in the middle.

same way salads and some thing on left corners and cucumbers in the middle.

with multiple greenhouses - use one main green house for necessary crops. one for all your experiments. ne for fruits and early/late veg like beans and potato.

If you have one more...plant the things you like to overwinter mostly. also for fruit trees to get them frost free. still have onemore .. I can pick it up, not to worry about it :P

I don't grow chillies, sweet peppers, or aubergines. Tomatoes are OK for seed saving and I probably wouldn't bother to save cuke seeds, although, if there was something special I could put it in another GH.

The advice here is not to grow vegies from the nightshade family together. I assume this is more to do with disease/pest control than anything else.
