Oh dear, I have calmed down and I realise that swelling melons are not to be laughed at.

Gotta love a swelling melon, get in, you melon growers.....

Into bigger pots now I guess? I've never got more than tennis ball size so could do with some advice. How oftern do they need feeding (often I'm guessing) ?

Arriva F1 is written on my labels - but no evidence of that variety online...

I've only grown watermelons before, and outside. They need an inordinate amount of water and food, plus keeping the baby melons well away from slugs, who find them a tasty snack. Am trying Kajari melons in the greenhouse this year, currently on 3 leaves each. They've been planted in what I hope is a very rich mix of manure and chicken poo.

Thanks sparra' - I think I'll try at least one in a bottomless MFB onto the GH edge - that might help it get enough water. The others will go into large pots in the GH - maybe bring them out if its a warm summer...

I can't find anything for that variety. I was hoping to check if it was an early melon. I have only managed gris de rennes melon in the past. I have a fair few this year but it is all a bit experimental

77 days there is no reason in regards to the variety you shouldn't get anything then. Gris de Rennes is 85 days just for a comparison

                              Hey Baldy
I'm growing the same melons, got them from wilkinsons. I started mine on 28/04/16 out of the 10 seeds, only one sprouted. I now have it in the ground but it's smaller than yours. i'm heading down to my allotment later on, i'll get a pic. I HAVE NO IDEA what i'm doing with this plant!!!!
