Cheap tarpaulin/plastic sheeting

Good afternoon everyone!
We are in the process of clearing the second half of our allotment and are in need of a fair amount of sheeting to cover up the ground ready to dig it over.

Please can anyone inform me on where I can find cheap tarpaulin or just black plastic sheeting?

What you need is a good quality woven landscape fabric. This will block the light to kill the weeds and allow rain to go through. The trouble with a tarpaulin is that they allow light to pass through but not water. When I needed a quantity I bought mine on Am@zon but I think you would get some fairly cheaply on eb@y too.

Alternatively you could cover over with large sheets of card.

Better still both, as Wendy suggests you need a decent quality membraine
