I've finally started digging the holes for the new tunnel! Only another 13 1/2 to go!
Not been able to work around my existing tunnel while the chickens have been in it, because if they could see me they would peck the tunnel. Which really stressed me out! But now the little thugs are back in their own home I can actually get stuff done.Comment

Finally caught up with the rest of the garden. So I could go back to hole digging.
There's a bit of stone in there
Look up from digging to see I'm being supervised from the warmth of the tunnel.
The sun went is so obviously no point sunbathing in the tunnel. So we decided to help dig holes!!
Never going to get done with help like that

A bit more done
The new tunnel came with a all singing all dancing watering system. As I won't have beds in that tunnel when it's up, I've put it in tunnel one.
Well it will be all singing & dancing again when it's got it's own bit of hose that isn't 3 times to long!Comment

The bits I need for my tunnel will be ordered this evening ( new cover, ground sheet, anchor plates, base rails )
( I've finally got my grandad's inheritance
, I know he would be very happy to buy the bits I need as Nan & Grandad brought my first tunnel for me )

Look what I was getting up to yesterday

A few of the holes needed a little tweaking
all the legs are in...........one side!
hoops starting to go up. with supervision from our little gardening dog.
ridge bar is in place. it's starting to look like a tunnel (& a bl@@dy big one
)
