Just wondered what everyone uses to clean the outside of their tunnels. To make things a little difficult, the poly on mine is covered in debris netting to act as a shade. I was thinking just warm soapy water with a soft brush. Any ideas?...........ideally I could do with something I could just spray on that would break down the carp, leave for a while, then rinse off.

Hot water and fabric softener and a long handled soft brush then a rinse. The fabric softener is supposed to prolong the life of the plastic.
I clean it twice a year, Autumn and spring and it's never too hard a jobGardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poet

I don't have a polytunnel so don't go spraying it liberally, BUT I use d*ttol mould & mildew spray on pot saucers and the like (along with the bathroom ) - I spray it on and rinse / spray it off - job done. I just don't know if it would harm the plastic - if you have a spare bit to try it on though its fab for lazy cleaners like me , everything just washes straight off

My polytunnel manufacturer recommends this stuff:

you just spray it on and leave it. I used it last Spring and it worked well.He-Pep!

I hate doing mine as I gave no running water close by, the only time when I find it a draw back
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
