My new freecycle greenhouse!

I have a question about automatic window openers, are they pretty much an easy universal fit? just remove the manual open/lock bar and use the existing holes to fit the new opener? the ones on ebay all say easy fit.. is this actually the case? any help and before after pics would be very welcome!
