First winter with new greenhouse, so really experimenting to see what works ok over winter and what doesn't.
Radicchio, broccoli raab, chervil, parsley, various chinese cabbages, cabbage, small kale plants on left side. Chard at top.
Variety of salad and lettuce in grow table on right side. Overwintering onions and radish interplanted all along left border - not shown.
Haven't bothered to try and insulate or heat greenhouse in any way. Am pushed for time. I do have some fleece if it gets really cold but doubtful I will use it as I only have time for absolute essentials. Plants just have to like it or lump it really.
All the basil has died off - to be expected as loves heat but I have some indoors which is still going although looking a bit sad.
Wish I'd planted even more chard in there as love the leaves in veggie stews and curries. Very happy with grow table and having fresh salad on tap. That has been fantastic.
Did not get around to planting garlic in there although it is planted in raised bed outside. Also ran out of time to plant broad beans. I have done what I can.LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.
