Greenhouse problems

I had someone do a a concrete base for me with council paving slabs that then were concreted in place. He used a sand and hardcore base but I've noticed when it rains the 4 corner paving slabs get wet. Would anyone know why this is happening.

Slabs are porous so it could be soaking in from the grassed area outside, doesn't look like you had a waterproof/damp membrane fitted, but then for a greenhouse that wouldn't matter as you will be watering things inside the greenhouse.

Could be a few reasons to be honest..
Small gaps in the glass at those points or as Burnie says, slabs are porous or just dampness coming off the concrete

Not much to worry about unless you need it to be bone dry at those points?

Perhaps an illusion, but from photo, it looks like there is a slop down to greenhouse.
If that is the case, pit in a ditch of pea gravel to drain any water away at the back. corner.

My greenhouse floor is wet in all four corners because the gutter moulding allows some water to run down inside the glass at the ends After a year and a bit, I till haven't got round to adding some silicone in the hope of keeping it out

best not to worry about it - plants grow better usually if the atmosphere is very damp - just don't store any bags of cement in there :-)

Thanks for all the advice. I was hoping to grow during winter but worried about the wet stones. I've added a pic to show what happens but its normally the 4 corner ones. I will add some pea gravel around outside and silicone and hopefully it stops it.

There's really nothing to worry about.
GH's often leak and they attract condensation.
What do you think happens to the water after you've watered your plants? It drains out of the bottom of the pots and lands on the floor. If the GH is on soil, it will drain away, if its on slabs it won't.
The answer is to watch the ventilation, open windows and doors whenever you can.

I have 4 GHs on solid bases - they all let in water in various places
I don't know how you plan to use your GH but I've sectioned off part of the floor and made a "bed". I lined it with plastic, filled it with compost, and I grow my winter veggies in that. In summer, I sit the tomato pots on the bed which helps to keep the pot compost damp.

Your greenhouse has a built in rain gutter along both sides.
If the greenhouse is dead level, when it rains,you will have four outpourings from the gutters at each corner. This will in turn find its way between the paving flags on the corners and aluminium angle frame where it sits on the corner paving flags.

Solution is to block one end of the gutter on each side and add a pipe to a water butt at the other ends.

Went out to my greenhouse and there is a very big puddle of Water in middle of the floor.....

The ground is sodden and there is an earthen floor.

Found wet floor this morning, to find that the autovent had opened yesterday in the sun and not closed - good job it was rain overnight, not frost/snow

Had to take the vent off to close the window, think it needs some oil

Mine was just very wet ground conditions...

Could have been driving rain through the side vent
