I reckon I spent around £600 to £700 on my 6 x 3m poly-tunnel - I bought some of the materials involved at different times, so there's an element of guesswork in that estimate - mostly I did the work myself, but I did pay a mate for a few days work to give me a hand with some of it, including the cement mixing, block laying and some of the erecting of the frame etc.

I spent a fortune on my large polytunnel. Its 4x 7 metres.
If i am self sufficient in fruut and veg for the next 431 years it will pay for itself. Provided i dont have to replace the plastic.
Its not all about the money...
