We were lucky in that the cover was undamaged and the poles were repairable.

To be honest we kept meaning to dig it in but the ground was too hard and matted with couch grass to dig until the autum and being our first year we ran out of daylight hours to do it on weekends, complete our own fault but Phew.

Im having regrets about this polytunnel already......
      Its only 3x2. I wish i had sprung for a 2x4.....
      Maybe a 3x6....
When it succumbs I’ll get a bigger one.

I've really enjoyed mine, which as I say is more or less identical to yours, and has firmed up my mind to make me decide on getting a larger one.

As VC has said when the cover does go you have a strong steel frame which can be used to support netting, so you have your own walk-in fruit cage.

It was really windy last night. Wee tunnel still standing! Going to get creative today with foam pipe insulation to protect cover.
