Hanging Baskets

Sure this has been covered before however couldn’t find anything.

My greenhouse (10*8) has high eaves and the cross ties are ideal for hanging baskets off. The food has four automatic opebers two each side and each side wall has a manual slotted vent.

So question is can I grow any toms etc in baskets or is it ott. Also assuming I can any tips on varieties?

yes you can, go for it tomatoes that I like for baskets are, tumbling tom red, tumbling Tom yellow, tumbler and cherry falls.

I grew tumbling Tom in a hanging basket last year for the first time. A complete waste of time in my opinion. I said so on here and many people agreed and suggested better varieties but I can’t find that thread now!

Hopefully they can point you in the right direction with good varieties to choose.

Maskotka is a nice one. I grow that and Tumbler.
