What are these insects

Went in greenhouse to find loads of these. On glass, on tom leaves. I then checked the outdoor Courgettes and the back of leaves are covered. What are they and how do I get rid before they totally cover my Tom leaves. I've got Mariglolds and they were on them.

The green bug looks like an aphid & the white could be where they cast their nymph skins? I had some on a tomato leaf last year squash them on the leaves,no need to remove the leaves. You could squirt them off with a hand sprayer,a few won’t damage the plant but they reproduce a lot,check them every other day so they don’t overwhelm the plant. Soon they’ll just disappear.

I've been told they are called woolley aphid. They look like them to what I've seen on youtube. It's just getting rid of them.

Woolly aphids are found on woody stems not soft foliage.

Interested in the soon they will just disappear bit? I have aphids on my aubergine leaves. Been using soapy water spray and the hose to get them off. Is there a time frame for these pests? Or will they just stay all season?

It feels like they�re there forever but they do disappear eventually,they need to eat first,then they�ll probably either get eaten by predators or fly off to a nearby shrub to overwinter. You�re doing well limiting their existence & looking after your plants. I have aphids overwinter on my forsythia & I noticed a neighbour has some on their ivy that hangs over my garden early spring I prune out the young tips which helps & I cut all the overhanging ivy,it takes over my sideway. By not using chemicals you�re keeping a good balance of good insects & wildlife to help you.
