1st year growing bush tomatoes and they have caught me by surprise. I understand that they stop growing when fruit sets on the terminal or top bud and al;l fruit ripens at same time. Was expecting a crop over a few weeks if not months. Is there still time to grow second sowing?

Never had a problem with bush toms cropping all at once, personally.
Was about to pluck out the suckers when I read that they all ripened at same time. Perhaps
"sucker it and see"

I'm growing some Principe Borghese for the first time this year and though its a determinate type, some of mine are now over 4' tall and I reckon likely to reach about 8' by the end of the season - I'm supporting the plants with strings. So though it falls in to the "bush" category, this description may be a bit misleading if taken to mean small.
