Tomato/potato blight?

How does it start? I've got a brown patch on the stem around where a leaf has dropped of about a foot from the soil. On others, mainly Tigerella the ends of the leaves right on the tomato itself are dying back to the stem.
I've never had this happen so any pointers welcome.....unless it is B****T.

An old thread with many pictures missing, but there are enough there to work out if you have blight or not

Missed a reply to this. It turned out that mine was a bruise from when it was windy and another tub was blown onto it, also took a leaf with it and opened a wound. The stem dried out right through so I culled it yesterday, no other plants affected.
