  • Identification of this plant please

    This plant was planted as kohlrabi, it has a cabbage taste web eaten raw but I would like to know what it is and how is it cookedClick image for larger version

    it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

    mizuna - no idea what is best to do with it as I have never achieved a decent crop.

      Eat small leaves raw, in salad or sandwiches. Eat cooked in a stirfry.
      Leave to self seed in GH (as I do) and it keeps on growing (sorry NG.)

          I’m sure I split a pack of these seeds with you at the Cardiff Veg thing? We also got giant mustard leaves? Im still growing the same strain...also in the GH

              the reason I asked about cooking it was when pulled a leaf to try it, I found it a bit strong, I can understand pulling it young, but thought using mature leaves raw would be a bit to much, I will try steaming or stir frying some leaves to see how they do
