Rocket question

Is it bad to let rocket go to seed? I can spend an hour a day picking out the flowers and the next day there are hundreds more and i can't keep up with it. Would it be best to cut the whole lot down?

not sure, but try eating the flowers yummy! great on a salad, pretty too!

As long as the plants havn't gone too tough and bitter, I go round with the garden shears.Cut them down by a half and they soon grow new leaves. Anything you cut off should be edible. Then re sow some fresh seed.

the leaves are usually still edible even with flowers, i allways leave mine.
