chilled failed then came good

In spring sowed a selection of chilies in a container in my propagator. They were nicely labeled and separated by some barbecue sticks.
Gave them plenty of time but none appeared. So reused the container/compost and sowed my tomatoes.
The toms can up but so did the chilies. At this point I didn't know what the chilies were !
So I eventually just transplanted all that came up to a large trough and left them to there own devices in the greenhouse.

Some look like dumpy Jalapeno
Some are normal long thin red chilies
And some I think are scotch bonnets.

Any idea what to use scotch bonnets for ??

Same thing as you use the other chillies for. They will just make everything a bit hotter.

I used one scotch bonnet in my mince and peas curry last night. We had to have every one spoon of the curry with two spoons of yoghurt. :\

I should perhaps dig out the seed packets and try and match them up.
Hot sounds good.
Anyone tried the Morrisons Volcanic Vindallo?
It's yummy and not insanely hot for anyone who like a hot curry.

Apparently Iceland are doing a Reaper curry now but haven't tried it.

Make Jerk Chicken (or pork) with your Scotch bonnets; it's one of the things I do with mine.

Wife often gets an Iceland Order and sometimes asks me if I want anything to make up the order price.
Bottle of whisky usually gets some derogatory comment !
But I might get away with Iceland Carolina Reaper Curry.
