  • Marks on my cucumber

There were brown patches on my cucumbers, at first I thought it was snail damage but several of them had it (sorry no photo) it was just on the outer skin the cucumber tasted ok when it was peeled, not sure if it is something like a canker or if it's thrips? they were grown out side and one of the small (6inches long) varieties
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

You should see a doctor about that!
Or they could be struggling with the cold nights?

Could it be from the sun shining on drops of water that has "burnt" the skin? I know a good dermatologist if you want one!
I work very hard so please don't expect me to think as well!

I often find there are a few brown marks where the skin has been damaged, sometimes by rubbing on supports or against the fence and sometimes probably snail damage. I just cut them off.

That's what happens here, as well
