  • Pumpkin small sugar, wonderful

I have mentioned in a previous post I grew some pumpkin Small Sugar.
With the hot summer they did really well.
    Numerous pumpkins approx 10" across.
I peeled and diced up one.
Covered in oil salt and pepper then roasted in oven for about 30 mins.
Still a bit al dente , golden and very tasty.
Also went well in a curry.
    Anyone tried Small Sugar
    Thanks
    Jimmy

I'm up for another competition. I didn't do too well in the Tromba competition, but better to have tried than not.

Is Small Sugar also known as New England Pie? I'm sure I read that somewhere recently.

I don't have any Small Sugar seeds, but I do have NEP seeds - got them in a Wyev@le 50p sale once - sow by 2013 - haven't got round to sowing them yet
                Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
                Endless wonder.

I bought some yesterday!! 99p for 60 seeds from Seekay on Eb@y and if you buy 5 packets its 20% off with no p&p.
If anyone gets stuck, should have a few to spare but its probably cheaper to order your own than send an SAE.
