That's a superb parsnip. Our plot's prone to canker so we grow Gladiator as it's a resistant variety.Location ... NottinghamComment

Nice one. I had some huge parsnips last year (Hollow Crown) grown at my friend's, but some of them had a bit of rot in the centre, although most of the root was edible. I still have some in the freezer and I will soon be investigating how the same variety has performed at the allotment.
