Can anyone tell me how they use the coffee grounds that shops give away.
My local Waitrose is an ideal source and I've added some to my compost bin in the past.
However I'm in the process of topping up raised beds with trenches filled spent basket stuff chopped up some leaf mould cardboard and any other ingredients I can come up with which I'll cover with cardboard and some compost for the wormies to do their magic!
At what stage would anyone suggest I add coffee grounds. As the beds will be untouched for about 5 months time should take care of any potency issues of the coffee grounds I think.
