My one plan is to be organised and NOT let the weeds take over!!!!!

Day off tomorrow so I think I'll go through all the packets of seeds I have (2 stacker boxes!!!) and organise them and see if there's any glaring gaps/missing varieties. I want to grow more vegetables too as well as have my usual overexuberance of flowers everywhere

And I also need to get my chickens in 2019 too So it's basically birds, blooms and brassicas for me!
If I'm not on the Grapevine I can usually be found here!....https://www.thecomfreypatch.co.uk/

This is me! I usually have loads of plants ready for planting in. Sometimes there is a row free, other times there may just be the odd space here and there.

I am going to grow slightly differently this year...

I am going to plant in grids....be a grid gardener is my new phrase

I might even try to grow some banana melons, as long as sunshine kitty smiles on them

My problem will be the incline on the plots and dealing with rolling rocks!

All you need is some Crop Rotation and you will have grown a Victory Garden.

And stay sober, don't want to be a drunkgardener.

I’m restricted but happily made free by the fact that I only have a few tiny spaces.
18in square bed plus as many 12in square pots I can find a home for.
The pots mean everything is movable if need be. However, the down side is that very little can be grown so I only grow stuff I really love fresh.

I wonder if that explains why my Boxing day sown onions never grow in straight lines? mmm...

I have a plan that is regularly under modification. I use openoffice calc for my seed stock, task list and diary and I use openoffice draw to map out out the beds and planting plan. I'm a forum noob so unable to post the attachment. This year I mainly sowed in modules and one of my many issues was trying to figure how much to sow to fill a bed, basically I need to sow more and be prepared to chuck the extra, although that hurts

Get posting! A few more posts and you will have enough "privileges" to post photos.

You could use the extra as micro greens ( depending what it is ), or grow them on and swap with other gardeners, or sell them. Lots of thing you can do. Composting should be a last resort because as you say that hurts. Buy it does still happen.

Will your garden still be in the same place once your new house is built SP? How's the house building going anyway btw?

Rows planned, less this year so rows a bit wider, seeds ordered.
Just need 3 bags of manure now, so better clear the car boot out first.
