Not a clue but its intriguing. Presumably the seeds were light coloured so its not a pubescens. Maybe some kind of wild?
Would love to see what it is.
Yeah definitely light coloured. I'd of been instantly suspicious if they had been black seeds . I'm going to watch his development closely. I knew he wasn't a bhut jolokia but hadn't really had a close look at him till I took the photo yesterday and realised how different he is . I'm intrigued. I'll keep you posted as well.
Goats weed is a very hairy chilli isn't it . A very high possibility that's what my ghost is.
The name has put me off growing it in the past but it looks great and now I want to grow it next year! I know things (plan C?) might get in the way but if you do get chance to save seeds, I'd love some.

I was thinking I'd probably save some seeds for experimenting with at a later date. Because attempting to start a breeding program now is very silly. So if it turns out to be a goat weed I'll happily save some seeds for you.
I have roots starting to show at the bottom of my 3" pots now, doesn't this mean they need to be potted up? I've barely get true leaves on them yet so not quite sure, they're under 2 weeks old... any thoughts? I've taken a couple of snaps- thanks guys!

I wouldn’t be moving those on just yet, wait until they have a couple of pairs of true leaves. When you do pot them up, put them a bit deeper (anything up to the seed leaves.)
