Oh and Sugar Rush Cream is very blobby compared with Peach. An online image search shows they all look like this.
I'm having difficulty knowing when it's ripe. Picked one that seemed to have changed colour a bit but it was very "fresh" tasting and crunchy so I've left the rest on the plant to hopefully ripen a bit more.

Cheiro Roxa - mine aren't at the point of ripeness yet but I'm expecting them to go a much lighter colour. Either pink or maybe even a peachy creamy colour.
Apologies for multiple posts but on this computer when I click "Edit Post" it only gives me about the first half sentence, not the whole thing.

Good to know sugar rush cream is a bit of an odd ball. I was starting to worry because my (hopefully, not tried yet, it’s from the mystery seeds ) sugar rush red is the same shape as peach.

Mitzi, the Fish peppers I've grown from seed you sent are going bonkers! There's over 50 fruit on one of them. One plant is super variegated and I am hopefully saving seed from it.
I don't even remember sending seeds although I did send quite a few seeds to quite a few people last winter - I like to share the chilli love around. Glad they're doing well for you.

Makes me happy.
Plus the first caramel Moruga and peach Fatalii pods are starting to colour up, so I’ll be able to harvest those soon. The scary-looking pods from Chilliwilly70’s seeds are still resolutely green but looking good.
Those white pod are they off the same plant as you gave me ? Mine aren’t smooth like that, mine look a little more vicious . I cut a tiny one open last week ( one of the first to set, but not formed the correct shape ), the smell nearly made my eyes bleed .

Most of the isolated pods turned out wrong so there's no point saving seeds from them. So frustrating.Last edited by Mitzi; 26-08-2019, 10:20 AM.

I’m having the not what it says on the tin problems this year as well. Even though the seeds have all come from the same packets as last year when they were exactly what it said on the tin! Peach hab, thunder mountain, moruga scorpion.

So Jalapeno and Padron pepper plants this year were sent outside because of tiny white creepy crawlies all over the leaves that SWMBO didn't want in the house. Only now have I gotten any flower buds developing. Am I likely to get any chillies before the frost date?

Maybe bring them in when it starts to get cold (below 10 degrees at night regularly) and see if you can eek out a few more weeks inside before another whitefly infestation
