Good Morning, and Seasons Greetings to you all! I am thinking of using seed tape (home made) for my carrots next year. So many tips and tricks on the internet. The most popular are either corn flour paste (or similar) on kitchen type paper, or someone suggested just laying them on thin masking tape and putting the tape straight in the ground when ready to save storing. Does anyone have an opinion having used them before? Comments very much appreciated

Update, 9 January 2019! I have the first 4 seeds through and looking healthy, not bad for 11 days. OK these were indoors but just planted in normal top soil and watered. I seeded 9 on masking tape and 9 on paper towel. 2 on each so far. I've also done the same in some seed compost to compare results. Helps pass the time.......I will post more updates later.
