I transplanted some of my tomatoes growing in 2in. soil blocks today into 4in. pots with a soil, compost, vermiculite and worm cast mix I think I will plant them into my greenhouse raised bed in the next 2 weeks as I am considering putting a soil warming cable into it
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Quite pleased with progress on my early tomatoes. Of the 12 sowed on 12 jan have 10 left doing well and with some true leaves. Once they recover from the shock of being moved to individual pots they really come on. The 2 sungold i planted on 5 feb already in pots and getting first true leaves. Got another 18 germinating I hope. Maybe this idea of starting early is a good one.
My first attempt at these are looking quite good now! They're about 2 inches high now in their 3 inch pots. Had 100% success rate germinating them so I now have 8 Tiny Tims, two of which will live indoors, two will live in the greenhouse for comparison and 4 will be adopted by work colleagues who also grow their own veg
