OK looks like I may have to play the game as well, If I sort out the office which I have been meaning to do over Christmas and haven't yet I can set up my grow stations and perhaps grow some midget bush toms like Micro Tom, Red Robin, Tiny Tim & Balconi Red

Just noticed Real Seed have a new variety called 'House Tomato'. Anyone heard of it before?
An amazing heirloom variety bred in Russia, then brought to Canada in the 1890s. This dwarf tomato plant has been bred for growing in pots on a windowsill - it makes a short and sturdy bush about 1ft tall that is heavily laden with round red cherry tomatoes.
It actually does better in a pot than in the ground, as it is so short and stocky. Back in circulation thanks to the work of Jenn Stotland and Annapolis Seeds , who specialise in northern-adapted varieties.

Just sown 2 more. Trying red robin and another micro Tom in my hydroponic thing.
Be interesting to see how they do. I've tried 3 other varieties in there and none of them have liked it. Hope these work. It's main reason I got it to have toms all year round. The almost continuous supply of salad has been nice.

I didn’t think they had thermostats,I’m thinking of my old fish tank the water can get cold, tomatoes are similar to a tropical fish a bit Hopefully it will work soon for them, are you growing some in compost too just in case? I’m having a difficulty at the moment I need a massive drip trap of some sort,I might just use old Christmas gift bag, shame it’s not waterproof though,it would be a rubbish drip tray but it’s my best idea atmLocation : Essex

Have sown a few Rosella and a few Sungold this morning, just trying an head start, but my head is telling me this is so wrong!
We'll see!
(VC! Can't believe Rosella is on your never to grow again list, these things just ROCK!)"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

This evening I have sowed 2 different varieties, I have decided to try moneymaker as it is quite a robust tom. and alsoa tomato variety that is supposed to be early, its a..... red one I will post the variety name tomorrow, if I rememberit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.
Member of the Nutters Club but I think I am just there to make up the numbers
