  • First sweetcorn; harvested and eaten.
    I live in a part of the UK with very mild winters. Please take this into account before thinking "if he is sowing those now...."

      The carrots look a bit iffy, but I'm happy with the rest.

                  • I looked at three ripe tomatoes in the greenhouse. I'm leaving them there another day, to encourage more to ripen. No idea if it works, but it's worth a try. There's so many green ones!

                    I also picked (and ate) the first ripe cucamelon, and took a leaf off the perilla to try it. What an unusual flavour! I'm not sure what to make of it! Or with it! :P

                            • A load of french beans.
                              A courgette.
                              The last handful of mangetout. They were pretty productive in the end, considering I lost multiple plants to root rot at various stages.
