Today I harvested - 2019

First sweetcorn; harvested and eaten.

The carrots look a bit iffy, but I'm happy with the rest.

San Marzano, black cherry toms, little gem lettuce, land Cress, basil, Oregano, Scarlett emperor and Blauhilde beans.

Over 2kg of plums. Still many more to come.

I looked at three ripe tomatoes in the greenhouse. I'm leaving them there another day, to encourage more to ripen. No idea if it works, but it's worth a try. There's so many green ones!

I also picked (and ate) the first ripe cucamelon, and took a leaf off the perilla to try it. What an unusual flavour! I'm not sure what to make of it! Or with it! :P

The last handful of mangetout. They were pretty productive in the end, considering I lost multiple plants to root rot at various stages.
