Harvested my first strawberries from my allotment today. Just eight of them, but they were very tasty.
I didn't even plant them, either. They just came with the plot.
I haven't had any problems with birds eating them, thankfully, but slugs helping themselves has been a problem.

Also picked some radishes, spring onions and salad leaves.

The first radishes (tiny but couldn't wait), some early potatoes kindly produced by some volunteer plants in last year's bed, and some self seeded rocket.

Picked my first Alderman pea pod in the poly-tunnel, almost 2m off the ground - some of the next ones are getting on for 2.5 meters high. :-)
