Today I harvested - 2019

Yesterday I harvested the biggest slug yet, was stretched out to 6 inches and still as thick as my thumb. It learnt to fly when I lobbed it over the fence to the playing field next door :O))

5 pounds of freebie potatoes that were left overs from last year and growing amongst the now finished summer greens, I do like freebies. Roosters, Charlottes and Pink Fir Apples.

Raspberries, blackberries, some eaten some in the freezer
Scarlet emperor and Blauhilde beans for freezer
Toms, cucumber, courgette
Lettuce and Charlottes

Chillies, tomatoes, last of the peas and broccoli

I've hit the 10kg mark this year now.

Just got back from (another) week away and found 5 cucumbers in the greenhouse. One has been already been gifted to my waterer, the rest will be munched pretty quickly by the kids.

Today, I harvested two very large french beans & a medium sized one. Not much, but it might encourage the others to grow a little bigger for picking

First proper harvest of the runner beans at home, some dumpy carrots and the first 5 tomatoes. Yippie!

Something fishy....Sea Bream possibly.....yes this is the right thread....going fishing

Went to the allotment this morning and came home with a beautiful bouquet of flat leaf parsley, some chard for dinner, loads of runner beans, plenty of lettuce and a lovely tub of blackberries.
