    • Found 3 cucumbers growing outdoors behind the leaves.
I thought they were finished but was xo surprised to find them, fully grown.
Picked a few pattipan squash also outdoors.
A dish of tomatoes from the greenhouse and a few Hungarian hot wax peppers.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

          • Broccoli
            Kale
            Beetroot (big ones)

Lots of dried runner and french beans.
The pods are starting to go mouldy in all this damp weather, and I'm worried it might spread to the actual beans, so I decided to pick all of the brown pods, shell them, and I've now spread them out on trays to dry for a week or so, before I pack them away in jars.

All at once I hear your voice
                And time just slips away

Chillis, loads of em. And sweetcorn but didn't take a pic of that. Not sure that pic is even going to work

Edit - it did work, cool. Padrons on the top and various of lemon drop, orange hab, yellow scotch bonnet, choc hab and some Trinidad scorpians on the bottom.

                      • The last of the allotment tomatoes. They're not quite ripe, but the slugs are after them, so I thought I'd best ripen them indoors.

The first of my Christmas Pippin apples. It was delicious, possibly the best apple I've ever tasted. Would highly recommend as a Cox-like apple which is rather easier to grow and less disease prone than an actual Cox.
