Update...
#1 Plant that nearly died when it got a bit of a rotted stem early on. Bushing out all over the place and just now putting out flowers.
#2 Round chilli, still ripening, plus some fingers.
#3 Something pointy. The leaf is curled because there's a ladybird pupating under there.
#4 No idea.
Not much to report on the remaining two which are still setting pods nicely.Last edited by toomanytommytoes; 14-06-2019, 07:18 PM.

That's a very good idea.
I was waiting to see if I could identify them first. But in reality what's the chance of that happening to any degree of certainty. I'm thinking fairly slim . Does it really matter if I don't know it name if I like it. I should be able to narrow it down to family ( probably with help from you lot ). Think I might have to join you and do a bit of flower isolation .

I did a bit more swatting up yesterday to possible help with identifying some of our chillies.
I've gone with Capsicum baccatum they are the easiest to identify they have flowers like this the spots can be difficult colours, green, yellow or tan but they are always in the same pattern.
So the short list is :
Sugar rush
Dedo de moca pepper
AJI criolla
Bishops hat
AJI mango
AJI lemon
AJI fantasy
AJI crystal
Brizilian starfish
Lots of those have quite distinctive shaped pods. So hopefully we can get close to working out the variety.
I'm learning so much growing these mystery chillie, it's brilliant, and I'm paying much closer attention to how the plants are growing. Thank you toomanytommytoes for twisting my very rubbery arm

My big plant is a C Baccatum . I've definitely got 2 of that family, possibly 1 or 2 more.
I'm excited about this one
