Now have 71 babies.
Germination has really slowed over the last week. No sign of the rocoto yet. I've got 3 or 4 dark leaved seedlings which narrows the variety down to 6, I think. That's very exciting.
Don't think I'm going to get full germination. I'm not overly disappointed because let's be honest 175 is mental!.

Black olive chilli, cheiro roxa, Costa Rican orange, explosive ember, purple tiger & Zimbabwe black.
There could be others. There were a few varieties on the list that I couldn't find any information on at all.

I opened the take away container with the damp kitchen towel to give it a wee spray. That was where i put a few of the tiny seeds and the dusty stuff that was left in the bag. The chilli smell hit the back of my throat - like it does when you cook with hot chilli. How interesting. Hope something in there germinates because it could be spicy! This weekend am going to check all the other seeds that i put in compost last Sunday and give them a spray. They are all in plastic bags on top of the radiator. You never know something might have appeared by then. Am trying not to be impatient.

Yes. Still experimenting. I also have it's big brother. Idea is to pop these into same size hole in a bigger block (space will be a premium) until I can get some hardier veg into polytunnel / Garden. I already tried onions, but didn't cover with enough soil to keep the seed roots down.

None germinated - Expect emergence 1/2/19 (going by SP & TMTT experience)

Need to do more experimenting with blocker. Made the blocks too hard / They have dried out too hard. Seeds not growing into them. Need more fibre.

NB-- Lifted another 5 off top of blocks today and planted.

Been sorting the list of chillies by species and couldn't find much information on a few of them:

Bishop's Hat - can't find a chilli or pepper under this name, perhaps should be Bishop's Crown (Capsicum baccatum)

Chimera - can only find a Youtube pod review saying it's Pink Tiger x Dragon's Breath, which would make it Capsicum chinense and superhot

Devil’s Breath - could be Ecuadorian Devil's Breath or a typo of Dragon's Breath, both Capsicum chinense

Chocolate Douglah - is apparently the same as 7 Pot Chocolate?

Holy Mole - Capsicum annuum, but only sold as hybrid seed?

Jigsaw x TMSB - Jigsaw is supposed to be even hotter than a Carolina Reaper, but I don't know what TMSB stands for (perhaps Trinidad Moruga Scorpion B.... ?)

Yellow Mushroom - also known as Jamaican Yellow Mushroom/Yellow Squash/Jamaican Hot Yellow?

Bishops Hat, Bishops Crown and Friars Hat are all the same thing. Baccatum.

Douglah is well known, it’s hotter than your regular 7 pot, I believe. Haven’t grown it.

Yellow mushroom I think is the same as Jamaican Hot. It’s an annuum but sometimes claimed to be the source of Scotch Bonnets so maybe it’s actually a hybrid or maybe it’s just the similar shape that gives rise to that claim.

Don’t know about the others but fairly sure someone on here has grown Holy Moly.

I've grown holy mole. I really liked it. Great stuffed with tomato pasta/pizza, feta cheese and cherry toms.
I got my original seeds from Nicky's nursery. Not grown if for a while so hope one of my seedlings is a holy mole.

Aleppo - is an annum. Small red pods. Mostly used as a powder.....I think Ms. t grew something similar - acri biber? Turkish chilli?
