Hoops for netting

Hey folks,

Looking for advice about hoops for netting. Have spent today making 2 raised beds which are 180x90 cm.

Was looking to put some hoops up for netting/fleece etc but found these largely surprisingly pricey when I looked online.

Am I just being stingy? Or naive. Are there ones you would recommend or would you bodge your own with something? And if so what would you recommend I use?

25mm mdpe water pipe. Screwfix was the cheapest when I got mine

If you want to go super green - hazel, willow or bamboo are also available - of these I'd say green bamboo will last the longest - I grow a small clump of black bamboo, and its useful for a number of things and doesn't invade other areas of the garden like some types do.

It's a good price but delivery kills it for me.

50m x 25mm = £27.84 inc VAT but £11.99 delivery = £39.83.

Local Screwfix £31.89. I have to collect it but it's only a couple of miles away. They will deliver for an extra fiver.
