Am I the only person that pots up all the seedlings and gives them a chance although I only need a few. Put 2 seedlings in a pot that are small and both grow like weeds.
Am just wondering if I am mad.

I can't bin baby plants, I will fit them in wherever there's space and give away the rest. My sister does rather well from this arrangement to the extent that she doesn't bother raising plants other than sowing a few runner beans.
My method is to prevent waste by planning, so if I want 4 cabbages I sow 4 or maybe 5 seeds, not half a packet. This is much easier if you start the seeds in pots or modules than if you sow in rows or seed trays. Once the plants are growing I agree it is very hard not to keep them.

I always grow more than I need. But they are very rarely wasted. The spare is either sold, swapped or used as a micro crop depending on what it is.
So I probably fall into the nutters category
