After reading many gardening books, seeking advice on many things - they all seem to agree that there is a possibility of actually killing rhubarb.
In my experience, having 'used and abused' the plant(s) over the years - I'm quite sure they'd outlive cockroaches after a nuclear oblivion........because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo. (Veggie Chicken - 25/01/18)

It has a load of manure in the tub and as the tub is made of fiberglass I am hopping that this will give it some insulation against the frostit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

I must have made a mistake with my first post, VCs the first on to it. Ask her a question she is never there, make a mistake she is there to highlight it

Yes absolutely will Heck, I grew mine from seed in large conical hanging baskets for a couple years before transplanting to tubsThey're in medium/large bell pots ATM and packing on growth. Just give them lots of chicken manure at the start of each season and ample water and make sure you have room for the long taproot.
Happy growingThere are no gardening mistakes, only learning curves
No matter how big the job or overwhelming the task, a good dose of sheer obstinacy and bloody-mindedness should see you through
